cosmiC Pack Leader | Volunteer | Founder
Iâm a Chicago / San Diego native, with over 25 years in each, now living in beautiful Carbondale, nestled in the heart of the Shawnee National Forest. My journey has been anything but linearâyet itâs shaped me into the Cosmic Pack Leader I am today.
Growing up, I was always activeâswimming, skateboarding, mountain biking. But everything changed after I broke my ankle and heel while serving in the Navy. That injury led to a medical discharge, chronic pain, and a ripple effect through my bodyâfirst my ankle, then my knee, and eventually my lower back. As the years passed, I found myself struggling with physical limitations, along with battles against depression and anxiety.
In 2018, a spine specialist gave me advice that would change everything: âLose weight and strengthen your core.â Two days later, I walked into my first Connected Warriors yoga classâand my life took a new direction.
Yoga brought healing, strength, balance, and a renewed connection to myself. It became more than just movementâit became a lifeline. I believe deeply in the power of the breath to connect mind, body, and spirit.
Today, I volunteer my time providing Pack Leader Training for Daley Dogs, always promoting Balance & Wellness within the pack.
Before founding Daley Dogs, I had the privilege of serving in the U.S. Navy, cooking professionally, and spent two decades in global ITâinstalling communication networks across the globe.
Funny enough, while laying cables to connect others, I found myself on a journey to reconnect with Earth's internal network.
As a veteran, I understand the unique challenges service members face. Thatâs why Iâm passionate about sharing the pack as a tool for healing and balance.
Outside Daley Dogs , you can find me coaching swimming for the Special Olympics, where Iâve spent 20 years working with some of the most inspiring athletes out there. I also enjoy travel, cooking, gardening, surfing, and diving into tech projects of all kinds.
